What do aerospace engineering degree graduates do?

Aerospace engineering is one of the most exciting and challenging engineering fields you can enter. As an aerospace engineer, you might be working on Earth or in space, extending humanity's frontiers and working to understand our home planet more fully. You could find yourself:

  • exploring space as an astronaut
  • designing the next generation of supersonic jet fighters and giant bombers
  • developing spacecraft
  • monitoring our global habitat via remote sensing from space
  • designing and sending rockets to space
  • helping to save our environment by developing cleaner energy and transportation systems
